Visual Communications is GREEN

By its very nature video conferencing is a 'green' technology with a wide range of benefits. One innovative way for environmentally conscious companies to realize measurable return on their video investment is to develop effective 'teleworking' initiatives.

Learn how to Reduce CO2 Emissions

We believe that organizations must be presented with workable steps that they can take today to reduce their carbon footprint. It might be a program to provide home workers with the tools to stay visually connected. Or, a travel reduction policy that enables your team to offer expertise via video, rather than flying or driving to meetings. Try the Tandberg Business Advantage Calculator

Reaching Carbon Neutrality

Many organizations are beginning to look at reducing their carbon emissions for whatever reason. The idea of carbon neutrality is founded on the idea that organizations can seek to reduce their carbon emissions as far as is economic, and then offsetting any remaining emissions. To benchmark today's attitudes, Wainhouse Research surveyed users to ascertain if their organizations have carbon emission policies and whether conferencing technologies are factored into those policies.

This paper explores Climate Change and how specifically conferencing and collaboration technologies that enable work over distance and time travel barrier can play a key role in the realization of a carbon neutral strategy.
